Our surgery opening hours are
Monday-Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 9am-1pm.
For urgent issues, please call the practice
from 9am for an on-the-day appointment.
Southern IML Pathology is available Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
at 177 The Avenue. (closed between 1pm-1:30pm)
Allied health professionals are also located at 177 The Avenue.
We are a private fee surgery.
Bulk billing is at the discretion of your doctor. No bulk billing on Saturdays.
Discounted fees apply to pension and
health care card holders, uni students and children.
If you are having financial difficulties,
please discuss with your doctor or the practice manager.
All appointments must be paid for at time of consult.
For medicare card holders, a rebate is available for most visits.
Ensure your bank account details are current with medicare at my.gov.au
Please provide at least 2 hours notice by phone if cancelling your appointment.

During opening hours, please call reception to book an appointment. For urgent issues, you may be triaged over the phone by one of our nurses.

We value your feedback and it is important to us. Your compliment, suggestion or complaint will provide the Doctors and staff with the opportunity to review and improve their services to you. The Doctors and the staff at Figtree Surgery are committed to excellent customer service and continuous improvement.
If you have a compliment, suggestion or complaint about the surgery, we ask that you provide the feedback in written form. This can be submitted to reception staff in the surgery or placed inside our suggestion box in reception (feedback forms are provided). Alternatively, you can email your feedback to the practice manager at admin@figtreesurgery.com.au
You can remain anonymous but please include your name and best contact details if you would like a response.
All feedback will be acknowledged on receipt using the provided preferred contact details usually within 2-3 business days. The practice will attempt to provide a response to the feedback within 30 days.

If you have respiratory symptoms (e.g., cough, sore throat),
we kindly ask you to take a Covid-19 Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) on the day of your appointment
to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.
If your result is negative: Please wait in the car park at your appointment time and call our reception at 02 4255 7822 upon arrival.
Please wear a mask when entering the practice.
If your result is positive: Contact reception to either reschedule your appointment or switch to a telehealth consultation.
Medical information collection from or about you will remain confidential. It will not be released to a third party without your written consent except in an emergency situation or when compelled by law.
